What makes you unique?
We do things different than regular hospitality. We provide a contactless check-in. Our motel is very old and the rooms were built a long time ago. Our updates had to accommodate those changes and as such some of the fixtures are unique. Each room has a private patio with beautiful views of the mountains and a small fire table. Your stay here will be a different experience than a chain hotel. To be honest we may not be for you and that’s ok. We think everyone should have a great stay in the Royal Gorge region.
Do you provide TVs?
Only in our cottage – this was a conscious decision for the room ambiance. We provide WIFI, and a beautiful mountain view/patio.
What time is check in/check out?
Check in is 4pm. Check out is 10am.
Do you allow smoking?
We DO NOT allow smoking in the rooms. Any rooms found to have been smoked in will incur a $350 fee so we can basically burn all the linens and towels and have the room excessively cleaned. You may smoke on property away from guests and dispose of your cigarette butts in your own vehicle.
Can I have an early Check-in or late Check-out?
We are glad to accommodate any early check-ins or late check-outs that we can. We make no promises, it really just depends on how long it takes us to clean the rooms. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.
Do you allow pets?
We allow well behaved dogs, and we charge $20 per night for dogs. Excessive barking or aggressive dogs (humans also) may result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Pets must be leashed (insurance people require that be noted…are you happy insurance people?).
Do you provide coffee?
Local coffee is provided as well as a coffee maker. We also provide dairy free Laird creamer, Copper Cow Latte packets and sugar packets. Gotta have hot coffee to enjoy on your patio.
I am hauling a trailer do you have somewhere I can park it?
We have lots of places to park it. The motel is located on 23 acres, and we have ample parking on the side of the building. Let us know, and we can show you where to park.
Do you provide shampoo?
We do not provide shampoo. In an effort to eliminate waste as much as possible, we provide custom handmade goat milk soap bars, created just for Little Canyon Inn guests. We provide a soap called “The Canyoneer”. It smells wonderful and unique and we hope it enhances your stay with us.
I hear you have a trail?
We have a .75 mile walking trail that extends onto the additional 20 acres we own. We also have a 4 hole disc golf course.
What’s that cool old building behind the patios?
That is our new greenhouse community space. Great space to hangout if it is raining or windy on a sunny day. The vibes are on point.
Do you provide housekeeping?
We do not. If you are staying with us for several nights, let us know when you need new towels, soap, etc. and we will gladly swap things out for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that things come up and you sometimes have to cancel your stay. All reservations require a 100% payment at the time of booking. 30 days prior to the date of your stay, payments are 96.5% refundable(card process won’t refund fee). After 30 days reservations are 50% refundable. Reservations cancelled less than 72 hours prior to check-in are NON-Refundable.
What is up with the F.A.R Donation?
Fremont Adventure Recreation is the non-profit responsible for the design and development of some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the Royal Gorge Region. We support them through their 1% program where 1% of all sales goes to FAR. Again we believe in transparency and thought you should know part of your stay helps to make this place an even better place to visit.
