“I cannot say enough great things about this place! We stayed a couple of nights in their little cottage, which was a really wonderful experience from beginning to end. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and had all the comforts of home. And the property is gorgeous with amazing mountain views and a really cool walking trail that we used several times. It's far enough away from the town that the skies are dark and you can sit outside on the private patio and look up at a million stars. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can!”

“Hands down, one of the best boutique motels I’ve been too. From the moment you walk in, everything is spotless & smells great. You can tell the owners put a lot of love & pride into the place - the retro designs & updated finishes are all thoughtful & well done. I love how all the little touches inside are locally sourced as well: from the soap to the coffee to the artwork, you can tell how much they love their community. The back patio is phenomenal. Unbeatable views. The propane heater, propane fire pit, & string lights were perfect at night. I ran into one of the owners while sipping my morning coffee, & he was happy to provide some plenty of local recommendations. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.”

“Every time we turned around we encountered another charming detail - the patio with fire table and propane heater, sun set over the distant purple mountains, bright yellow coffee maker, tiny fragrant handmade soaps, c-o-m-f-o-r-t-a-b-l-e bed, very modern and beautifully appointed bathroom, gorgeous fletching pattern on the doors, and frosted windows in the patio doors. The walking path out back satisfied our wildflower interests, and gave us plenty distance to stretch our legs. The location is optimal - off 50, but outside of town far enough to be quiet and see the stars at night. The perfect base for hiking, the Royal Gorge, visits to town. The hosts were there when we needed them, otherwise left us to ourselves - perfect. The patios are very private, but our neighbors' dog came by and gave an opening to meet the lovely young couple who owned him, which was very welcome. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.”
